Malek Villa is being constructed on a 1-hectare plot in the eastern region of Damavand, with 4,800 square meters of floor space distributed over four levels. The project stretches horizontally along the length of the plot to maximize scenic views. The basement includes parking, mechanical facilities, and a spa complex. On the ground floor, the entrance and vertical circulation elements are centrally positioned, separating the living areas from the private suites.
The first floor accommodates five bedrooms and large terraces designed for various functions, including a cinema. At the top, a study and library with a private terrace offer breathtaking views. Throughout the building, terraces, semi-open spaces, internal courtyards, and vertical skylights foster a connection with nature, creating a serene atmosphere befitting a villa.
Functionality and spatial relationships were key priorities during the design phase, shaping the layout. Influenced by the client’s needs, the functional diagram determined the structure of the plan, while the exterior facade developed in harmony with the internal design. The mass consists of neutral boxes that shift in various directions, extending into the surrounding space. While the form follows the function of the plan, a dynamic and active quality was intentionally maintained. The building’s silhouette is broken and unpredictable, offering different perspectives from various angles, making it challenging to form a single static image of the project. Deep consoles, some extending up to 16 meters, add to the dynamism and visual impact, defying static perceptions.
In essence, Malek Villa, with its focus on leisure and non-economical approach, offers a harmonious blend of recreational and residential spaces. The design seamlessly integrates indoor and outdoor elements, characterized by elongated forms, deep consoles, and minimalist finishes. The project structure combines metal and concrete, with the metal elements in the upper floors mounted onto the primary concrete structure to facilitate the formation of the consoles. Currently under construction, the project is expected to reach completion and be ready for operation soon.
